The start of the school year always feels like a turning point, and this year after such an incredibly long break for most children, we expect that many will need some help transitioning back to their school-day routine.

With the start of term just a few weeks away, we have curated a selection of books to support children starting school for the first time, transitioning to secondary or returning after an extended break, including books to support home learning and dealing with the emotions that may bubble up at the start of term.
